AURORA is a multinational defense and security alliance formed in response to rising global instability, regional power struggles, and the emergence of asymmetric threats. Its founding members include the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, Australia, Poland, and Japan, among others.

CENTCOM is a multinational coalition of military forces and civilian agencies that falls under AURORA. The coalition is focused on countering the growing influence of Russia and China in the Indo-Pacific region and ensuring the security of key allies and partners.

  Formation of Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC)

  Due to increasing hybrid threats and unconventional warfare operations conducted by near-peer adversaries in Eastern Europe and the Indo-Pacific region, the AURORA alliance has formally activated a consolidated special operations capability under the designation Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). The formation is tasked with executing high-risk, precision operations across multiple theatres to deter, disrupt, and degrade emerging hostile state and non-state actors.

  The command structure for JSOC will fall under Task Force 145 with 1st SFOD-D, DEVGRU & 5 Ranger Regiment as Special Operations Forces with JTAC, CSAR, infiltration/exfiltration, SEAD, EA, high-precision deep strike, CAP, CAS, Joint ISR, PST & aviation support from 24th Special Tactics Squadron, 160th SOAR, No. 617 Squadron RAF & 1st Fighter Wing. SIGINT, IMINT, TECHINT, MASINT, HUMINT, EW enabled by 18th Signal Regiment and Special Reconnaissance Regiment.

  JSOC will lead and execute special operations, direct action raids, hostage rescue, deep reconnaissance, electronic warfare operations, and precision strike missions in support of AURORA strategic directives. Priority targets include asymmetric threats, proxy elements, and forward-deployed hostile elements supported by adversarial state actors.

  TF-145 will operate under direct command of AURORA Special Operations Directorate with full access to allied ISR, cyber, and kinetic strike capabilities. Task Force HQ forward-deployed under secure comms. Rotation and deployment cycles to be shared with national command elements.

  In a significant policy shift, the United Kingdom has announced a temporary withdrawal from CJTF-OIR to focus on humanitarian missions. Unverified rumors suggest that UK officials have grown wary of continuing joint operations with U.S. forces due to a lack of trust in American decision-making on the ground. The United States has officially announced the conclusion of Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR), citing mission success in countering ISIS. As operations transition to a UN-led peacekeeping effort, US forces have begun a phased withdrawal but will continue to maintain a strategic presence in the region to support allied forces and protect national interests.

  At 0900 a cruise missile strike devastated UN Base Conoco, resulting in 24 dead, 7 wounded, and a complete communication blackout, leaving the status of survivors unknown. The strike’s origin remains uncertain. Meanwhile, UN checkpoints across the region are overwhelmed, struggling to hold against unknown hostile elements, and the UNFIS Commissioner is trapped at UN Post Sierra, unable to evacuate due to the deteriorating security situation.

  With UN forces stretched thin and no reinforcements available, an urgent distress call has been issued to any coalition or peacekeeping units in the area for immediate assistance. Hostile forces are highly active, potentially fielding armored units and indirect fire capabilities, making any relief or extraction efforts high-risk. The window for action is closing, and any delay could result in further UN casualties or the complete loss of key installations and personnel. Immediate response is critical.

  • SW of Syria - Anizay: The province is a semi-arid region with a mix of agricultural land, desert terrain, and mountainous areas. It is a known hotspot for insurgent activity, drug smuggling, and paramilitary operations. The region contains United Nation outposts, an airfield, and supply depots that are critical for logistics and counterinsurgency efforts.

  Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), remain a strong OPFOR adversary which seek to expand their territorial influence and destabilize the region through insurgency tactics, terrorism, and conventional military operations.

  CENTCOM members are to provide intelligence, air support, advisory assistance, and direct military engagement in counterterrorism operations. In addition, UN peacekeeping forces, including South African, Livonian, and Ukrainian troops, are deployed to stabilize conflict zones and provide humanitarian aid to civilians.

  🚀 State Of Mission

  • SW of Syria - Anizay: The province is a semi-arid region with a mix of agricultural land, desert terrain, and mountainous areas. It is a known hotspot for insurgent activity, drug smuggling, and paramilitary operations.   • Mission: Task force elements will provide exterior protection to UN Base Alpha, establish a defensive perimeter and execute counter-offensive operations as needed, ensuring its security against an expected ISIS assault aiming to overwhelm the facility. Additionally, teams will conduct targeted strikes against ISIS ammunition depots and operational sites, utilizing ground demolitions or close air support (CAS). To disrupt enemy reinforcement efforts, a joint ambush of 5 Ranger & 29th MEU will be set up along known ISIS resupply route to interdict and neutralize enemy logistics convoys before they can reach the frontlines.

  Following the collapse of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, Syria has descended into political instability and violent conflict. Multiple militant factions are vying for control of key regions, leading to widespread violence, power struggles, and a humanitarian crisis. Among the primary actors in this conflict are the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), both of which seek to expand their territorial influence and destabilize the region through insurgency tactics, terrorism, and conventional military operations.

  To counter them, A CENTCOM-led multinational coalition Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF–OIR) is formed, tasked with the stated aim to “degrade and destroy” the Islamic State. CENTCOM members are to provide intelligence, air support, advisory assistance, and direct military engagement in counterterrorism operations.

  🚀 State Of Mission

  • SE of Syria - Sa’hatra: A strategic province in eastern Syria, rich in oil fields and a key battleground during the fight against ISIS, also a hotspot for geopolitical tensions between the USA, Russia, and Iran due to its location near the Iraq-Syria border.
  • Elements: 1st Marine Raider Battalion, 5 Ranger, 1st Signal Regiment, No.617 Squadron, 74th Fighter Squadron
  • Mission: Establish and secure a communications relay to support ongoing operations. Conduct electronic warfare operations, including signal interception and disruption of enemy communications. Secure the town of Sa’hatra, neutralize ISIS presence, and deny enemy movement. Identify and destroy ISIS ammunition depots and operational sites using ground demolitions or close air support (CAS) as required.

  

  📜 Mission Status

  • Able to secure Sa’hatra & deny ISIS control of the city.
  • 1st Signal Regiment was able to sucessfully conduct EW and interception against HTS & Russian communications.
  • 5 Ranger & 1st Marine Raider Battalion were unable to destroy ISIS ammunication depots due to both Elements taking heavy casualties in taking the city.

  • ISIS was able to sucessfully rearm and siege the city of Sa’hatra allowing it to retake it.
  • Failing to deny ISIS resupply efforts, UN Base Alpha was attacked heavily weeks after the Mission.
