Due to increasing hybrid threats and unconventional warfare operations conducted by near-peer adversaries in Eastern Europe and the Indo-Pacific region, the AURORA alliance has formally activated a consolidated special operations capability under the designation Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). The formation is tasked with executing high-risk, precision operations across multiple theatres to deter, disrupt, and degrade emerging hostile state and non-state actors.

The command structure for JSOC will fall under Task Force 145 with 1st SFOD-D, DEVGRU & 5 Ranger Regiment as Special Operations Forces with JTAC, CSAR, infiltration/exfiltration, SEAD, EA, high-precision deep strike, CAP, CAS, Joint ISR, PST & aviation support from 24th Special Tactics Squadron, 160th SOAR, No. 617 Squadron RAF & 1st Fighter Wing. SIGINT, IMINT, TECHINT, MASINT, HUMINT, EW enabled by 18th Signal Regiment and Special Reconnaissance Regiment.

JSOC will lead and execute special operations, direct action raids, hostage rescue, deep reconnaissance, electronic warfare operations, and precision strike missions in support of AURORA strategic directives. Priority targets include asymmetric threats, proxy elements, and forward-deployed hostile elements supported by adversarial state actors.

TF-145 will operate under direct command of AURORA Special Operations Directorate with full access to allied ISR, cyber, and kinetic strike capabilities. Task Force HQ forward-deployed under secure comms. Rotation and deployment cycles to be shared with national command elements.
