Mission Arcent
Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Hayβat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), remain a strong OPFOR adversary which seek to expand their territorial influence and destabilize the region through insurgency tactics, terrorism, and conventional military operations.
CENTCOM members are to provide intelligence, air support, advisory assistance, and direct military engagement in counterterrorism operations. In addition, UN peacekeeping forces, including South African, Livonian, and Ukrainian troops, are deployed to stabilize conflict zones and provide humanitarian aid to civilians.
π State Of Mission
- SW of Syria - Anizay: The province is a semi-arid region with a mix of agricultural land, desert terrain, and mountainous areas. It is a known hotspot for insurgent activity, drug smuggling, and paramilitary operations. The region contains United Nation outposts, an airfield, and supply depots that are critical for logistics and counterinsurgency efforts.
- Elements: 5 Ranger, 29th Marine Expeditionary Unit, No.617 Squadron, 74th Fighter Squadron
- Mission: Task force elements will provide exterior protection to UN Base Alpha, establish a defensive perimeter and execute counter-offensive operations as needed, ensuring its security against an expected ISIS assault aiming to overwhelm the facility. Additionally, teams will conduct targeted strikes against ISIS ammunition depots and operational sites, utilizing ground demolitions or close air support (CAS). To disrupt enemy reinforcement efforts, a joint ambush of 5 Ranger & 29th MEU will be set up along known ISIS resupply route to interdict and neutralize enemy logistics convoys before they can reach the frontlines.

- Successfully protected and reinforced UN Base Alpha against an ISIS assault.
- Conducted a joint ambush consisting of 5 Ranger and 29TH MEU elements on Enemy MSR Tigris denying their resupply efforts.
